Invisalign uses a series of precisely engineered, nearly invisible clear aligners to gradually and comfortably guide your teeth into alignment. No metal brackets. No wires. No disruption to your life. The entire process is digital from start to finish — a 3D scan of your teeth replaces the traditional goopy impression tray entirely, and a digital animation shows you your full treatment progression before you commit.
Each set of aligners is worn for one to two weeks before progressing to the next in the series. Most patients complete treatment in 6 to 18 months depending on complexity. The aligners are removable for eating, drinking, and special occasions, meaning there are zero dietary restrictions and oral hygiene is completely unaffected. At the conclusion of treatment, complimentary retainers are provided to maintain your result.

Combined with professional-strength whitening gel, these trays deliver salon-quality results on your schedule. Whitening is safe for existing crowns, veneers, and bonded restorations, though existing restorations will not change in shade — something Dr. Cohlmia will discuss with you during your consultation.

A dental implant is the only tooth replacement that replaces the entire tooth — root and all. A small titanium post is surgically placed into the jawbone where it integrates with the bone over the course of several months. Once fully fused, a custom-fabricated porcelain crown is placed on top, designed to match your surrounding teeth in shape, size, and shade with absolute precision. The result looks, feels, and functions exactly like a natural tooth.
Unlike bridges or dentures, dental implants do not rely on adjacent teeth for support, do not shift or slip, and require no special maintenance beyond normal brushing and flossing. Perhaps most importantly, implants preserve the jawbone by mimicking the stimulation of a natural tooth root — preventing the bone deterioration that inevitably follows tooth loss. With proper care, a dental implant is a lifetime investment.
