Dentistry is in Dr. Cohlmia's blood. As a third-generation dentist, he grew up watching his father and grandfather transform lives through the art of the perfect smile — and he never wanted to do anything else. Born and raised in Oklahoma City, he is not just a product of this community. He is invested in it.
Dr. Cohlmia earned his undergraduate degree at the University of Oklahoma, before going on to complete his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) at the prestigious University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry — one of the most respected dental programs in the region. Throughout his education, he distinguished himself not only academically, but through his commitment to service, completing multiple dental mission trips both domestically and internationally to bring quality care to those without access.
A proud member of both the American Dental Association and the Oklahoma Dental Association, Dr. Cohlmia is driven by a singular belief: that exceptional dentistry is both a science and an art. Every treatment plan he creates is thoughtful, precise, and deeply personal. His patients don't leave with just a healthier smile — they leave transformed.
Beyond the chair, Dr. Cohlmia founded the FDC Dental Assisting School, an accelerated, hands-on training program that has launched the careers of dozens of dental professionals across Oklahoma. He is as committed to the next generation of dentistry as he is to his own patients.
